Which areas in the house require the most attention when cleaning?
1. Kitchen (grease-heavy area)
Stove/Countertop: Spray with grease cleaner, let stand for 1 minute, then wipe clean with kitchen paper towels. For stubborn grease stains, use a steel ball + baking soda (will not damage cookware).
Sink: Sprinkle a handful of baking soda after washing dishes, scrub with a scouring pad, then rinse with hot water to remove odors and water stains.
Refrigerator exterior: Wipe with a cloth dampened with white vinegar to remove bacteria and fingerprints. Use an old toothbrush to clean the crevices of the door seals.
2. Bathroom (damp and prone to dirt)
Toilet: Squeeze toilet cleaner onto the inner wall, brush, then drop in an effervescent tablet (or pour a cup of white vinegar). Rinse after 10 minutes to disinfect and deodorize.
Mirrors/Glass: Wipe with old newspaper + diluted white vinegar. This leaves fewer water marks than paper towels. The same applies to shower glass.
Floor: Quickly mop with soapy water, focusing on brushing hair around the drain. Finally, use a squeegee to dry (prevents water accumulation and mildew).
3. Living Room/Bedroom (daily dust accumulation)
Furniture surfaces: Use an electrostatic duster to remove dust (especially on top of televisions and bookshelves). Use a lint roller on fabric sofas.
Floors/Carpets: Vacuum, then use floor wipes/disinfectant spray to wipe key areas (such as doorways and bedsides). No need to rinse with water.
Curtains/Lamp shades: Use the "cold air" setting on a hair dryer to blow away loose dust, or quickly wipe with a damp cloth (fabric curtains can be regularly vacuumed with a mite remover).
